Enneagram & Integral Coaching
Opening New Territory:
For the first time, The Enneagram Institute and New Ventures West will be presenting a new, in-person training about using the Enneagram in life and business coaching. This hands-on, in-depth program is a creative synthesis of our two approaches that is aimed at breaking through the most challenging aspects of coaching as well as sustaining our personal development. This training goes far beyond providing tips about each Enneagram type; instead, we will be illuminating points of either potential breakdown or breakthrough in both the client and the coach.
Building from a foundation in presence, mindfulness, and accurate self-observation, we will explore the fundamental hidden obstacles in both coach and client that tend to produce the make-or-break moments in the coaching process. In such moments, the work opens up to new understandings and actions, or produces our characteristic defenses and avoidances. We will learn about our own automatic patterns that skew our coaching away from our most powerful engagement with clients, as well as how to work with the various reactions and habitual responses of our clients. In short, the intention of this course is to help our clients move to higher levels of development and consequently greater competence, insightfulness, and maturity.
This six-day event will be experiential, with extensive group work, dyadic inquiries, demonstrations of technique, and hands-on coaching as well as a presentation of new topics and materials for both coaches and Enneagram teachers. The program includes periods for group discussion, questions and answers, and debriefing of our own processes. The teaching will take in and build on the comments and questions of participants.
The course will be led by James Flaherty, Don Riso, and Russ Hudson who will bring their many years of coaching and teaching experience to this event.
Dates: Tuesday, June 1 (evening) – Sunday, June 6 (lunchtime)
Cost: $1,695 per person (includes tuition, teaching materials, and meals). Of this amount, $250 is a nonrefundable deposit. With full payment upon registration before March 1, a $100 discount may be taken.
Venue: The Barn in Stone Ridge, New York (detailed information on getting there, as well as local B&B’s and hotels, will be provided upon registration)
Prerequisite: Attendees must have previous training with either The Enneagram Institute (Part One Training) or New Ventures West (Coaching to Excellence or equivalent).

What Our Graduates Are Saying about the Master Class
"The experience of the Master Class - like all excellent coaching - works gently from the inside out to bring good medicine to a struggling world. What a joy then to be undaunted in a group of brave learners, remembering how compassion, essence, and yes, even longing...lead us toward freedom, toward home."
