Jan Turner
Jan is a certified Integral Coach® from New Ventures West and ICF credentialed Professional Certified Coach with 29 years of highly dynamic experience at leading global financial services and insurance companies, including CMO, CFO and enterprise-wide leadership roles and profit and loss responsibility. A lifelong student of business and the human condition, she believes in bringing the human back to corporations by developing highly impactful, human-centered leaders who live and lead from a place of wholeness. As a 2x survivor of hardcore burnout, she is focused on enabling sustainable high performance in herself, others and organizations. A passionate practitioner of mindfulness as well as an artist, music fan and philanthropist, Jan is a gifted communicator who brings candor, servant leadership and a beginner’s mind to all she engages in. As a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Jan has been a consistent advocate for women, family, education and the arts. She chaired her employer’s Women and Allies Diversity Network and is a long-standing member of the United Way Women United Leadership Council and the Connecticut Womens Council. Jan serves on the Board of YWCA Hartford Region and previously served on the Finance Committee for the United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and on the Board of the Stamford Symphony Orchestra. Jan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts and an M.B.A. degree from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business where she was a Keller Scholar and launched the annual student-led Coach K Leadership Conference in partnership with graduates of West Point. She is an ongoing student of the Diamond Approach.
