Cancellation Policy

Most programs require a non-refundable deposit to register; the amount differs and will be listed under course information for each individual program.

The Professional Coaching Course and Graduate Engaged Pathways have their own specific policies (see below the general policy). Some teleclasses and graduate programs may have different policies that are listed with the course information. Otherwise, our general policy applies.

GENERAL CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER POLICY

(not applicable to the Professional Coaching Course)

You may cancel 30 days or more prior to the starting date of the program, and your tuition is fully refundable minus the non-refundable deposit.  If you cancel between 30 and 14 days prior, we will refund 50% of the program fee.  No refunds are possible after 14 days prior to the starting date.


TRANSFERS
: You are welcome to transfer your entire tuition to a future course, once only. You can either transfer or take a refund according to the above schedule; you may not transfer the deposit and receive a refund on the balance. Request for a transfer must be made prior to the start of the course and be completed within one year.

SUBSTITUTIONS: You may substitute another student in your place at any time prior to the start of the program.

REIMBURSEMENT FOR CANCELLED COURSES: If fewer than 10 participants enroll in a class, we reserve the right to cancel it. Should this occur, all tuition collected to date will be refunded. Though it is not typical that our programs are cancelled, to avoid confusion and disappointment, we suggest that participants who are traveling for the course secure insurance and/or refundable tickets. No reimbursement will be provided by New Ventures West on airline tickets or accommodations.

PROFESSIONAL COACHING COURSE – CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER POLICY

These policies are effective as of the time you submit your deposit.

DEPOSIT: The deposit for the program is non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit you submit is only applicable to your chosen cohort and may not be transferred to another cohort.  Please note that if you are not accepted into the program for which you’ve applied, your deposit will be fully refunded.

TUITION DUE: The tuition is due and payable one month before the program begins.  You are welcome to request an alternate payment plan (including the ones suggested on our site, which we always accept), but the financial obligation for the tuition is incurred at this time.

If you are on a payment plan and have not yet paid in full, 50% of the program fee becomes immediately due and payable.

No refunds are possible after 14 days prior to the starting date. If you cancel less than 14 days before the program starts and have not yet paid in full, the program fee becomes immediately due and payable.

TRANSFERS/SUBSTITUTIONS: You may not transfer to another program nor substitute another person in your place.

WITHDRAWALS: If you withdraw from the program at any time for any reason, we will not refund your tuition. If the tuition is being paid in installments, the full amount becomes immediately due and payable.

EMERGENCIES: We always try to accommodate absences resulting from emergencies such as severe illness, accidents, and so on. Especially with the Professional Coaching Course, however, adjustments can be challenging and fees may applyTherefore we are not able to accommodate requests for transfers for any other reason, such as work scheduling issues, family reunions, weddings, or the World Cup, for example.

GRADUATE ENGAGED PATHWAYCANCELLATION AND TRANSFER POLICY

The Engaged Pathway is a 12 month paid membership. By enrolling in this program, you are agreeing to a 12-month commitment. 

TUITION:  Your payments will be automatically deducted from your chosen payment method at the beginning of each month for the duration of the 12-month period. Please note that this is a recurring payment plan, and you are responsible for all 12 monthly payments. If you received any special offer regarding the membership that will be applied during the final months of the 12-month period.

CANCELLATION: If you chose to cancel your membership before the end of the 12 months there will be no refund and you will continue to be billed for the remainder of the 12 month period.
