I have been offering life coaching to individuals since 2016 and am a Certified Integral Coach® through the Centre for Coaching in Switzerland. I am an iEQ9 accredited Enneagram Practitioner and am credentialed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at PCC level. Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, I have had the good fortune to live on three different continents in my lifetime. I currently reside in a small and very neat town in central Switzerland with my husband and our three children who surpassed my abilities in both Swiss German and skiing at a very young age. With degrees in Business and Economics, my professional experience includes working as a business analyst in a global corporate setting, as well as an academic researcher at the University of Cape Town and the ETH in Zürich. Bookending these typical career events were a period as a semi-professional cyclist and some years spent focusing exclusively on mothering my young family. These disparate life encounters ultimately compelled me to challenge accepted ideas of achievement and success, and led to a period of searching for an alternative understanding of fulfilment and connection, both for myself and others who seemed stuck in a similar dilemma. After gaining a further qualification in psychology, serendipity led me into coaching and began a journey of ongoing discovery of and appreciation for the way in which coaching allows for a more conscious and holistic way of being in the world. I believe that coaching is able to transform by connecting us to deeper places of our knowing. Through increasing our awareness of how we relate to the world on the level of mind, body and soul we can expand the range of what is possible for us, and experience a more authentic connection to ourselves and to the world around us. As a Certified Integral Coach® my approach draws on insights from psychology, the principles of embodiment, the Enneagram, diverse spiritual traditions, poetry, and my beginning practice in Tai Chi. I derive much inspiration from being physically active in the beautiful outdoors and am always happy to offer al fresco coaching sessions in the beautiful natural surroundings in which I am privileged to live. www.insight-life-coaching.ch
