Julia Harman
I’m Julia Harman, founder of Harman Leadership, former financial services executive turned leadership development advocate and integral coach. I am passionate about supporting others as they learn to exhibit leadership across all areas of their lives. With over two decades in financial services, I have held leadership roles at several super-regional and global commercial banking organizations, including EVP and Head of Corporate Banking at a Texas-based public bank holding company and North Texas Regional President at a large national bank. My experience includes establishing and growing new business units, capital raising, business strategy formulation and execution, client acquisition, revenue growth, and leading large teams. I possess deep industry knowledge across financial, energy, industrial, consumer/retail, government and nonprofit, technology, media, telecom, and healthcare sectors. Beyond my professional achievements, I’ve served on the boards of several organizations and was recognized as a 2019 "Women in Business" honoree and a 2018 "40 Under 40" honoree by the Dallas Business Journal. I hold a BBA in Finance from Baylor University, graduating summa cum laude. I love working as an integral coach and being part of the NVW community, and supporting others as they pursue positive changes in their personal and professional lives. I’m also the married mom of two teenagers. I love to read, especially about psychology and the science of being happy. At any time, I’ve likely got three books going. I love the outdoors and am in awe of how beautiful our world is when we slow down enough to pay attention to it. If I had a free day, I’d have an outdoor brunch and listen to live music with loved ones.
