Coaching called to me after almost a decade in the law and academic medicine. My career started at Lane Powell, now Ballard Spahr. Subsequently I moved into criminal law. Feeling a need for something different, I left my job without another lined up and ended up at an academic health center. Unfortunately, in 2022, my mom was dying, and I was about to give birth to my first child. This led to my decision to leave my job and take time to be with my mom, care for myself, and bond with my new baby. I graduated from New Ventures West in November 2024. Transition has been a theme for me over the past decade. I focus on coaching professionals and teams experiencing transitions or disruptions. Transitions include promotions, workforce changes, career changes, family changes, retirement, and death of a loved one, to name a few.
