Jeff Hasenfratz
JEFF HASENFRATZ is Managing Director of Mindsight Executive Development Services, a Shanghai-based consulting firm focused on helping clients improve their team effectiveness and performance through better collaboration. Jeff, a Chinese-speaking executive coach for over 20 years, is also a dialogue facilitator and coach’s coach. He has lived in Asia for over 30 years. His interest in helping organizations develop the potential of senior leaders has led him to focus his career in this area, with a particular emphasis on helping leaders learn to disagree productively.
Jeff’s 15 years of experience in the technology and human capital consulting industries includes functional specialization in business development and in talent assessment, development, and transition. Previous corporate associations include Hewlett Packard, Cincinnati Bell Information Systems, and Russell Reynolds Associates, with assignments in Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Mindsight was established in Hong Kong in 2001 and in Shanghai in 2008. Client organizations include professional services firms, plus Fortune 200 firms in the manufacturing, technology, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and financial services industries. Client organizations include Bridgestone, Caterpillar, Deloitte, Fast Fish, MAN Energy Solutions, PopCap Games, Priva, the Rotary Club of Shanghai, Siemens Healthcare, and UNICEF. Executive clients are typically CEOs, Managing Directors, Senior Partners, and their Teams.

Jeff, a certified Organization and Relationship Systems Coach through CRR Global, has supported senior leadership teams of Chinese and European firms, through workshops and 1:1 coaching, to improve trust, alignment, and collaboration.
Jeff is also a qualified Coaching Supervisor through the Coaching Supervision Academy, and is a certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West. He has also served as an Adjunct Coach with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). He holds the degree of Juris Doctor (Law) and has taught collaboration skills in his client workshops and at the Hult International Business School, Shanghai. Jeff is also certified to interpret a variety of quality assessment tools, to include the Leadership Circle Profile and the Hogan Assessment, and is a co-editor of and chapter contributor to the book Leadership Coaching in China, Fielding University Press, 2021.
Jeff founded the Shanghai Coaches’ Learning Group in 2008, and is also a founding member of what is now called the Hong Kong International Coaching Community. In his spare time, Jeff volunteers with a local mental health hotline and enjoys practicing Chen-style taichi.
