Lia Woertendyke
I am a coach, mediator, and lifelong lover of dancing, nature, and deep conversation.
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve supported nonprofit teams, youth leadership programs, community spaces, artist collectives, and mutual aid networks from New York to the Bay Area. My work centers around relationships, helping people navigate conflict, change, collaboration, and the challenge of staying connected to one's selves while caring deeply for others and the world.
I am trained in Integral Coaching through New Ventures West and certified in interpersonal mediation, with additional training and practice in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and group facilitation.
I work with people who are deeply feeling, highly relational, creative, justice-oriented and who have spent years caring for others, holding communities together, or orienting around contribution. Often they are navigating burnout, grief, longing, identity shifts, spiritual questioning, relational complexity, or a quiet sense that they have lost connection with themselves beneath responsibility, performance, and survival.
My coaching creates space to slow down and listen more honestly to yourself. Together, we explore the patterns and ways of being that may be keeping you stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or far from your own desires and inner knowing. I bring warmth, curiosity, humor, and thoughtful challenge to this work, and believe meaningful change becomes possible when we relate to ourselves with greater compassion instead of judgment.
